Projects
Some might call it the dreaded word. But projects to me is a vision. It’s a visual I see of what they have and what would look good or make my kitty perfect. In a manner of a statement it’s my opinion.
Projects
Come in a variety of flavors of catnip. Down to a taste to actually breed is the only requirement. I’m talking about a long line of kitties to put the traits you want to make you own signature line. Personally my signature line is not what I started with in my vision. I wanted to do blue eyed siamese to put into my virtual life those kitties I love in real life. Believe it or not this is how most projects start. 🙂
My first projected vision was to do Siamese Seal, Blue Eyes, and 2 Tone Black & White Whiskers. Well that went south within the first month. I did eventually got my line but not before a few others got done. Mostly at first it was just breeding to see what and how things passed.
Like many I struggled at first to see what breed with what to get who knows what. Once I did that, then of course projects popped upto get all the “new” traits. But I soon realized that was out of my price range not to mention I barely knew at the time to know what I was doing. I also got a lot of hodge podge strays of course. Which I must say sometimes are the bestest!
Collection projects also come into play, which before you know it you’ll have tons of projects before to long. The first ‘collection’ project was when Bengal Tawny was released. Hoshi was my intro to that specific one to do a bengal tiger. This started the one I wasnt to have the bengal tawny with the tiger traits.

Just to say that projects aren’t a bad thing for any kitty and even strays are adorable.
